As part of the SWITCH project and to conduct qualitative impact measurements, each implementation city will organise a focus group between the 1st After Survey and the 2nd After Survey. The objective is to identify and assess: (i) how participants responded to the single components of the local SWITCH campaign, (ii) how the campaign could be improved, and (iii) how individual travel behaviour was affected. Each group will contain of about 8-10 persons representing a cross section of people in each target group.
The following pictures are examples of the Viennese focus groups:
Picture 1: Group discussion to the topic “Health status/Active mobility – explicit and implicit decision making”
Picture 2: Self-reflexion to the topic “So what would influence you to walk and cycle for those journeys that you currently use a car”
Picture 3: Poster: Likelihood to walk and cycle in various everyday situations (star…likely to change mobility behaviour; red sticker…unlikely to change mobility behaviour)
Picture 4: Different provided information material (provided during the campaign) are placed by participants on a triangle. At the top are the most effective material and going down in effectiveness.
