During the Walk21 conference the Viennese SWITCH team conducted a workshop with the focus on changes and challenges of behavioural change campaigns. After giving a presentation on SWITCH, positive and negative aspects of a successful campaign from the perspective of a SWITCH participant were discussed.

“What should not happen during the campaign”: e.g. bad infrastructure, less acceptance, no changes, provision of too much information material.
“What should happen during a campaign”: e.g. targeting of a specific group, long lasting effects, provision of personalised travel planning and useful gadgets.
